Kellie Martin. Martin is an American TV and film actress. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known for her role as the lead in The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more than just a hobby. She landed significant roles on TV as well as big screens. Martin is, in addition to being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Her sister who passed away due to Lupus aged 19 led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
