Jennifer Tilly, born on September 16, 1958 on the 16th of September in Los Angeles under extremely poor conditions. Her mother was an unsuccessful teacher and actor, was a salesperson for cars while her dad was an auto salesman. Jennifer, second in the family of four, was often at the theater performances of her mother and was was awestruck. Jennifer's parents split when she was five. Jennifer was raised within British Columbia by her mother who moved there with her siblings. Jennifer did not attend school although as a kid she was a talented artist. As a child, Jennifer was often targeted by bullies in Canadian schools. The theater interest diminished during her high school years in the end, and consequently she took part in theater by herself with help from her mother. Her mother inspired all of her children to acquire an interest in performing arts. Then she began acting.
